    The General Clerk provides administrative support including answering phones, preparing and filing documents, performing data entry, managing correspondence, and supporting general office operations.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional mannerTake accurate messages and route calls appropriatelySchedule and coordinate appointments as neededPrepare, type, and format memos, correspondence, reports, and other documentsPerform data entry and maintain electronic and physical filing systemsPrepare and process outgoing mail, including addressing, stuffing, sorting, and distributionProofread records and forms to ensure completeness and accuracyMaintain, organize, and safeguard records in accordance with company and contract requirementsOperate standard office equipment including photocopiers, multi line phone systems, and scannersSupport document retention and proper disposal of records as directedSelf check work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completenessEffectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced office environmentPerform other duties as assigned by leadership to support operational needs

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required6 months to 1 year of clerical, administrative, or office support experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholdersBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. PowerPoint experience is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a team

    Work Conditions

    Altus is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Worker (GMW) to support facilities, equipment, and grounds maintenance at Melrose Air Force Range. This role performs a wide range of general, preventive, and corrective maintenance across multiple trades to ensure safe, functional, and mission-ready facilities.

    If you are hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working across buildings, equipment, and outdoor environments, we’d love to have you on our team. In this role, you will support day-to-day maintenance operations, grounds upkeep, and repair activities across main and remote range locations.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

    Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

    Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.

    Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

    Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

    Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.

    Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

    Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

    Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

    Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.

    Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.

    Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.

    Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.

    Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.

    Align and balance new equipment after installation.

    Maintain inventory on tools and equipment.

    Practice workplace safety.

    Perform other duties, within or outside the assigned area, appropriate for the skills of the employee and the efficient and effective operation of EMI Services.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required;

    2–4 years of related maintenance experience and/or formal vocational or technical training.

    Working knowledge of multiple building and utility trades.

    Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an active operational environment.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Requirements

    Valid Driver’s License.

    Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

    Ability to obtain a herbicide/pesticide license as required by the contract.

    Must pass a background check.

    Work Conditions

    Conditions will vary. Capable of working outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0–100 degrees. The position will include regular standing, bending, reaching, sitting, walking, and lifting. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Overtime may be necessary from time to time depending on workload.

    In this exciting position, you will use your unique talents and make an immediate impact as a Range Control Officer at Melrose Air Force Range in Clovis, NM.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Serve as subject matter expert for matters involving Joint Terminal Attack Control, Joint Close Air Support, Joint Combat Search and Rescue, Joint Command and Control, and Joint Special Operations, Joint Readiness Exercises, multi-lateral exercises, and other military exercises as required.Plan conferences, coordinate airspace and range scheduling, oversee facility use requirements, manage logistics requirements, assist with mission planning and scenario development, monitor mission execution and resolve issues that impede progress an/or interfere with expected outcomes.Lead in matters pertaining to training exercises involving the Range Squadron Air/Ground Training complex to include monitoring and controlling safe range operations.Conduct/attend after action reviews and evaluates, coordinates, analyzes, monitors, and follows up on corrective recommendations.Attend all training required by United States Air Force for each program. Maintain a current and qualified status for each program as prescribed by Air Force Instructions. Develop and maintain a continuity book for each program.

    Qualifications

Ability to perform duties in a stressful environment.Ability to communicate both orally and in writing for conducting conferences, presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, and writing findings and reports.General knowledge of computer systems including USAF databases, computer graphics, and word processing applications, in order to perform assigned duties.Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and patience in order to present sensitive recommendations to affected elements or higher authorities, MAJCOMs, and other Federal agencies.Must be able to travel frequently.
