Job Summary
The Seat Headrest and Armrest Design Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, validation, and launch of headrest and armrest components within Client systems. This role owns the technical definition, release, and ongoing quality performance of these components, working closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver best-in-class comfort, safety, and value.Key Responsibilities
Own the design and release of headrest and armrest components (structures, foam, plastic trim, mechanisms) from concept through production.Develop and maintain component-level technical specifications, design documents, and engineering standards for headrest and armrest systems.Lead packaging and integration of headrest and armrest assemblies into complete seat structures, ensuring compliance with ergonomics, safety, manufacturability, and serviceability requirements.Create and maintain engineering documentation in Client systems (e.g., part numbers, BOMs, drawings, 3D CAD data).Coordinate with suppliers on design proposals, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, timing plans, and cost/feasibility studies; drive robust design solutions that meet Client performance targets.Plan and execute validation activities for headrest and armrest systems, including durability, environmental, and regulatory compliance testing.Analyze test data, identify root causes of issues, and drive corrective actions and design changes to closure.Support vehicle builds (mules, pilots, PPAP, launch) by resolving fit, finish, and functional issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Structures, Trim, Foam, Safety, Manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration and robust performance.Manage engineering changes (CNs/ECNs), cost reductions, and quality improvements for in-production programs.Benchmark competitive seating technologies and contribute to Client seating innovation roadmaps for headrest and armrest systems.Qualifications & Skills:

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE VERIFICATION ENGINEER
In this role, you will be responsible for both the verification and validation of the Fly-By-Wire software adhering to DO-178 standards. You will design and review requirement-based tests to verify the software per DO-178C. You will assist in the development of certifiable flight automation technologies and cost-efficient processes for the new Urban Commercial Aviation industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write and review requirement-based test cases and procedures to verify embedded flight software per DO-178C objectives.Perform unit tests and debug software based on the verification tests. Create software verification solutions for efficient workflow using LDRA, C/C++, Python.Support low level software testing using LDRA, C/C++, PythonSupport software and verification checklist activities for SOI audits with the FAA and the DERREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering discipline 5 - 10 years of professional working experienceStrong coding experience in Python or C/C++Verification testing experience on LDRA and/or C/C++Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision to influence organizationStrong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience in software requirement development and requirement-based test developmentSalary Range: $130,000-$150,000

We're looking for a Senior level Embedded Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on the software stack for Design Verification of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) & ECUs (Electronic Component Units) in current and next-gen vehicle platforms primarily The Connectivity & Vehicle Access Segment. You'll develop device drivers for PCBA components, create software prototypes for early hardware/software co-designs, build validation test cases in Python/C, and much more. This role offers a chance to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in developing embedded hardware and software stacks for the rapidly evolving EV industry.
Responsibilities
Work with hardware and software architects to collaborate on next-gen platform architecture with various SoCs (System on a Chip) and the software stack.Design, develop, and deploy embedded software on Linux and/or RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics.Collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver quality code, debug complex problems, prioritize, and get things done with high efficiency and urgency.Ability to debug in real-time across the hardware and software stack to understand the real issue and provide solutions, working and collaborating with multiple teams if needed.Familiarity with Linux build systems, device trees, and kernel driver development is essential.Ability to crisply communicate with peers, stakeholders, customers, technical leaders, and OEMs/ODMs.Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.5+ years' experience in Embedded Software Development.Experience with Automotive Infotainment/Connectivity platforms preferably working with GNSS, UWB, RF, A2B, BT AudioGood coding skills on C/C++.Good understanding of Linux and/or RTOS fundamentals, Board Support Packages, kernel configuration, device driver interfaces, debugging tools, etc.Excellent debugging skills with an ability to work across organizations/teams.Experience using Lauterbach, Oscilloscope, JTAG, Flashing Tools, etc.Salary Range:
