    Main Responsibilities:

    Process the complete payroll cycle - including salaries, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings - ensuring timely and accurate processing Handle payroll updates for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other adjustments Develop and refine payroll procedures to drive process improvement Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning wage and hour laws, payroll taxes and reporting mandates Prepare, reconcile, and analyze payroll reports - including tax filings and year-end operations like W-2 distribution Assist with internal and external payroll audits by providing documentation and ensuring integrity control Address employee inquires related to payroll and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations and update policies to maintain compliance Assists with Employment Verifications and DOL inquiries, as needed Assists Payroll Manager with special projects as needed

    What Makes You Great

    Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred

    Experience:

    8 - 10 years of progressive experience in multi-state payroll, garnishment administration Experience with UKG PRO or similar HR/Payroll software and proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel)

    The Vice President of Finance will serve as the senior financial leader for ALPLA North America, a $600M business on a growth trajectory toward $1B. This executive will provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the finance function, including financial reporting, accounting, audits, cost management, treasury, compliance, and risk management. As a key member of the regional leadership team, the VP of Finance will partner closely with the Regional Managing Director and global headquarters in Europe to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. This role requires a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on execution to support a dynamic, multi-site manufacturing environment.

    Financial Strategy & Leadership

    Act as a strategic business partner to the Regional Managing Director, leadership team, and global finance organization. Develop and execute financial strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and cash flow optimization. Provide forward-looking insights and financial modeling to support business decisions, investments, and long-term planning.

    Financial Operations & Compliance

    Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IAS, and corporate reporting standards. Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency. Manage audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements across multiple states and entities. Strengthen internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.

    Budgeting & Forecasting & Performance Management

    Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning Provide variance and profitability analysis to drive accountability across the Partner with operations to deliver cost analysis, ROI modeling, pricing strategies, and capital investment evaluations.

    Treasury, Risk & Cash Management

    Oversee treasury functions, including liquidity management, working capital optimization, and foreign exchange exposure. Proactively identify financial risks and develop mitigation Ensure effective capital allocation in support of business priorities

    Team & Orginizational Leadership

    Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned with ALPLA's values and growth ambitions. Champion continuous improvement, digitalization, and process optimization in finance operations. Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.

    Performance Metrics

    Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Achievement of budgeted revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow targets Working capital efficiency (DSO, DPO, inventory turnover).     What Makes You Great

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role in a manufacturing or industrial environment required. Proven track record in international business, multi-plant operations, and complex organizational structures.
