Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations
- Perform physical inventory counts
- Picking pallets and/or drums for shipment.
- Visual inspection of packaging
- Label creation and application
- Create shipping documents
- Ensure work instructions and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain clean warehouse and storage areas.
- Schedule / track incoming container shipments
- Setup domestic and/or international shipments.
- Communicate with freight forwarders and warehouses as needed.
- Track customer order history for on-time deliveries.
- Prepare customer shipment notifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics / supply chain required.
- Ability to operate forklift / reach trucks a plus
- Capable of managing multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Ability to complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Solid mathematical skills, with working knowledge of metric conversions.
E) Computer software expertise (MSOffice & MSOutlook a must, SAP & WMS a plus). C) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as being an individual contributor.
Must be organized, detail orientated and a hands-on individual.
