Our client near Union, NJ is looking to add a Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements. Previous orthopedic experience preferred, licensed new graduates with applicable rotations will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Chart reviews
First assist in the OR when needed
Provide medical treatment to pre/post op patients
Develop and implement patient management plans
Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- New Jersey State Physician Assistant License
- Familiarity with standards of care in various healthcare settings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
