    An established orthopedic practice in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. Work alongside a fellowship trained surgeon specializing in total joints. Candidates with orthopedic experience will be considered as well as licensed new graduates.

    Responsibilities:
    • Full-time permanent position
    • Monday-Friday schedule
    • Split between the OR and clinic, some hospital rounding
    • No call or weekend requirements
    • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
    • Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
    • Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
    • Perform injections
    Qualifications:
    • Maryland State license
    • Knowledge of orthopedic surgery, treatments and terminology
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
