The ideal candidate for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic possesses a safety mindset and applies a high degree of self-driven ownership and accountability over their duties and responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesThe Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be reportable to the Maintenance Manager and have responsibilities for the following tasks:
Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and investigates problems with polymer production equipment including gear boxes, gear pumps, rotary air locks, polymer cutters, bagging machines, conveyor systems, heat exchangers, etc., following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Performs all work in accordance with established safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules and procedures to maintain safe and clean working environments.Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, rigging, and hand/power toolsConserves maintenance resources by utilizing planning and scheduling maintenance model, equipment, and supplies as needed to accomplish job results in demanding team oriented environment.Prepares mechanical maintenance reports in SAP by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to assure the highest equipment reliability possible for all assigned areas.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and identifying proactive needs.This career opportunity will be based out of our Bay St Louis, MS facility.

The ideal candidate for the Material Handler possesses a safety mindset while using a high degree of ownership and accountability to support plant operations by shipping finished product and unloading raw materials in a continuous manufacturing process environment.ResponsibilitiesThe Material Handler will be reportable to the Shift Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks:
Position Responsibilities:Load trucks and railcars with finished product.Perform break down and set up of raw material railcars.Operate an engine locomotive, shuttle wagon, track mobile, and fork lift.Collect samples of product from the top and bottom of railcars and trailers.Process bill of ladings, COA’s and load sheets for shipmentsUse computers, scanners, and manual entry to input data.Complete a rail yard inventory and input updated information into computer databaseCommunicate between scale gate, co-workers, and truck drivers via radio and telephone.Perform general housekeeping.Required SkillsAble to complete physical activity including and not limited to:Ascend and descend flights of stairs (estimated 30 steps 18-20 times per shift). The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work at our PR - Pearl River Site located in Bay St Louis, MS. You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and will directly be exposed to various aspects of the Engineering & Reliability team that supports maintenance production areas across the plant site.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with other personnel and teams at the PR - Pearl River site to accomplish assigned projects and tasks including:

Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements and business needs Manage projects - defining scope, stakeholder analysis, objectives, timeline, testing phase, implementation and evaluation. Monitors operating parameters by reading gauges, instruments, and meters. Compares readings to known requirements, logs information, and takes action as necessary.Collects and submits appropriate samples for analysis.
