About the Position:
As a Lawn and Landscape Technician at MJR Landscape, you will start out each day at the shop. Most of the time, you will be working with one other individual going from client to client, working outside mowing lawns and taking care of landscapes. During the winter, you will be performing snow removal for clients.

Landscape maintenance, structural property cleanups, and new installs
Efficient seasonal leaf collection
Winter snow removal operations
Professional, friendly interactions with clients on-site
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in commercial lawn and/or landscape care
Must possess a valid Chauffeur’s License by your start date
Must have a DOT Medical Certificate (we will provide assistance/guidance to obtain this)
Must be a US Citizen and reside local to the Grand Rapids, MI area
Must have a working smartphone

About the Position
As an Experienced Painter at Jeff Bryant Painting, your daily focus is on craftsmanship and detail rather than rushed production. Operating on-site within a small, collaborative crew, a typical day involves executing precise surface preparation—such as masking, fine sanding, and repairing interior walls, trim, and high-end cabinetry—before applying premium finish coatings. Because our projects primarily take place inside high-end residential homes, a significant portion of your day involves working carefully around finished spaces and interacting directly with homeowners. This role focuses primarily on premium interior surfaces and specialized cabinet refinishing, with minimal exterior work.

Perform comprehensive, detailed surface preparation on interior walls, trim, and high end cabinetry.Apply premium finish paints and coatings to a flawless standard using brushes and rollers.Maintain an immaculate, organized job site, ensuring client flooring, furniture, and personal property are fully protected.Collaborate closely within a small crew, executing both foundational prep work ("grunt work") and skilled finish applications.Represent the company professionally during daily face-to-face interactions with homeowners.Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional residential painting experience as part of a crew for an established painting company.Tools: Must possess your own standard painter's hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, scrapers, knives, etc.).Licensing & Transport: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation to travel to various residential job sites across the Grand Rapids area.Physical Demands: Ability to consistently lift and carry 50+ pounds and work comfortably at heights on ladders and staging.Legal & Screening: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to undergo and pass a background check.Preferred (Bonus Points): Fine finish spray experience (HVLP/Airless) and/or experience leading small projects or crews.About the Company
