    Job Description:

    We are seeking skilled Field Controls Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform service calls and work on larger projects in collaboration with a project manager. Responsibilities include working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, utilizing DDC controllers, low-voltage wiring, and DDC graphical programming with platforms such as ABB, Johnson FX, Distech, Tridium, Honeywell, and AAON. Additional duties include interpreting wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, and performing assigned tasks as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    Valid Driver’s License with an Insurable Driving Record
    Experience with MS Visio
    Hands-on experience with controls, DDC, PLC, or Ladder-Logic programming
    2+ years of experience in diagnosis, programming, and repair of building automation systems
    Experience with Cylon (ABB), Distech Controls, Honeywell, or JCI (Preferred)
    Experience with Tridium Niagara (Preferred)
    Tridium Niagara N4 Certification (Preferred)

    Ideal Candidate:

    Highly coachable and willing to admit when they don’t know something but eager to learn

    Location: Houston, TX

    Salary: $75K - $90K per annum

    Job Description:

    The purpose of this role is to support production, by ensuring timely completion of 3D modeling for client projects. Most client projects are for aircraft hangars.

    Responsibilities and Deliverables of the Role

    In this position, you will:

    Design and standardize parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software
    Produce shop drawings and Bill of Materials for production and procurement
    Prototype and test designed parts before standardizing the parts and assemblies for manufacturing
    Take on or be part of any other technical/engineering project needed to progress our goals
    Streamline, accelerate completion, and improve the quality of the creation of general arrangement drawings that are part of design submittals to our clients, shop drawings, and prototyping different features and solutions for unique hangar applications.
    Ensure drawings and 3D models are modelled according to our best practices, are properly reviewed.

    Job Required Competencies

    Bachelors in mechanical engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
    At least one successful engineering internship with a reputable company
    High proficiency in 3D modeling (preferably Autodesk Inventor)
    Flexibility to be prepared to travel at least 1-2 weeks each quarter as we typically install our system at our client's sites all over the US.
    Software experience: must have AutoCAD Inventory / Solid works – Autoworks / 3D background / CATIA, Creole – 3D modelling (expert user)

    Years of experience: 5+yrs

    Experience: someone whos’ worked within a design team, enjoy the most recent software packages, managed deadlines / equipment design / project design

    Skills: Building assemblies, equipment design, tool design, heavy design is a huge plus, enjoys testing products.
