Candidates should have advanced Revit skills, a solid understanding of structural systems, and the ability to identify and coordinate potential conflicts with architectural and MEP disciplines. This role requires the ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and support the production of accurate, high-quality structural plans. Key Responsibilities In addition to all responsibilities of the Structural Drafter role, the Junior Designer will: Set up drawing sheets, including general notes, standard details, column schedules, base plate schedules, plinth details, and other project-specific sheets Dimension and coordinate floor openings (mechanical, elevator, stair, etc.) with architectural and MEP models Coordinate brick ledge elevations and layouts with architectural teams Ensure structural framing aligns properly with architectural features (e.g., avoiding columns in door frames, braces in windows, etc.) Identify and flag potential conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP elements Review and coordinate work produced by Drafters Read, interpret, and apply architectural drawings and construction methods Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for small to mid-sized projects Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in structural or architectural drafting/design Advanced proficiency in Revit (required) Strong understanding of structural systems (steel, concrete, wood, etc.) Ability to work independently with regular PM input Ability to identify coordination issues across disciplines Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings Effective communication and teamwork skills
