Job Description: Provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology and may also possess additional subspecialty expertise. Incumbents may be required to work rotating shifts and participate in call coverage. Principle Responsibilities Direct patient care Review patients medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Proficient in general diagnostic radiology, ER and acute inpatient and outpatient cases, with efficiency to be able to read high volumes using computers and related software applications, communicating with a wide variety of clinicians and staff from diverse socio economic and ethnic backgrounds, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with personnel contacted in the course of duties, effective and safe use of equipment, adherence to high reliability skills and behaviors. Quality Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, and patient flow. May participate in peer review and quality assurance. Policy and Procedure creation. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an approved school of Medicine Completion of an accreditation council for graduate medical education (ACGME) or American osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program in Radiology Fellowship training in Neurointerventional radiology, endovascular neurosurgery, or applicable post-residency training 1+ years of practice experience post-fellowship required Licenses/Certifications Licensed Physician – Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required upon hire BC/BE in Radiology, Neurosurgery, Neurology required Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below: • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross • Allina in-house BLS training (upon hire) Physical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $719,992 to $800,010 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
