    Allient Inc. is currently seeking a Product Line Manager to join our team in Dayton, Ohio! The Product Line Manager is responsible for driving the company’s daily activities regarding customers, marketing, sales, training and collaboration with Allient’s operational and sales representatives for a particular product line and coordinating with the operations team regarding existing orders and production priorities.     Responsibilities:

    Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales administration team so that the organization’s sales force is effectively supported, and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and economically.Works directly with major customers to acquire sales forecast information for operational planning purposes.Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to support the sales and revenue objectives of the organization.Track sales leads and opportunities, work projects, review contracts and purchase orders.Develops training programs and administers this training to the organization, Allient RSM and the Allient Solution Center groups.Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.Evaluates client requests to determine feasibility of timeframe, customization and cost effectiveness.Prepares proposals and quotes for customers, special pricing to be approved by Allient leadership teamPresents projections, short-term and long-term goals to determine future product development and future markets.Represents company at trade association meetings to promote the company and its products.Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.Meets with key customers, assists sales representative by maintaining relationships, negotiating & closing deals.Develops and manages the sales budget, reports on cost of sales and promotions related to customer activity, when required. Hosts customer and corporate visits, including tours, and meeting preparation/actions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Master’s Degree highly preferred.5 years’ experience in the motion control or power sports industry.

    Work Environment:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. Moderate level of travel will be required based on need.This position requires frequent walking and standing while completing the core responsibilities of this position.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).8+ years of CNC programming experience with at least 3 years in aerospace or precision manufacturing.Deep knowledge of G-code, multi-axis machining (3-,4-, and 5-axis), blueprint reading, tight-tolerance aerospace components, and high-performance tooling. Proven track record of coaching and mentoring technical teams.Strong understanding of Lean, SMED, and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills and ability to lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.Experience with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP)Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, CATIA, or Fusion 360.Demonstrated experience with low-volume, high-mix production.Familiarity with aerospace materials and machining best practices for titanium, Inconel, and aluminum alloys.

    • Design and programming experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s or associate's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, EET, MET. • 0 - 8 years of work experience; transitioning products and processes from prototype to production desired.
    • Design and programming experience.
    • Solid computer skills include MS Office, Visual BASIC, LabView, C, or C++ software programming. Experience with CAD system usage for project documentation.

    Physical Demands:
    • Mostly office-based but may spend time standing and walking on production floor or dev lab.
    • Occasionally may have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds.

    Work Environment:
    • Predominately office environment with occasional exposure to the production floor and development lab.
    • While on the production floor, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses.
