    Job Description Job Description Perform manual machine tasks as needed to support our rotor shop and field service division KEY FUNCTIONS : * Machine parts to within drawing specifications utilizing manual machines * Measure and record existing parts for reverse engineering purposes * Manufacture parts utilizing a sample part as reference *This job description is a summary of the primary job scope and should not be assumed as an all-inclusive description* WORK QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * Ability to set up and safely operate small engine lathes, milling machines, large vertical lathes, boring mills and misc. other common machine shop equipment. * Ability to accurately utilize micrometers (ID and OD), calipers etc. for precision measuring of parts. * Ability to read a blueprint * Familiar with overhead crane operation * Familiar with forklift operation. * Experience in utilizing hand and bench grinders * Experience in using band saws Preferred: * Welding experience is a plus EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Required: * Minimum of 2 years' experience operating machine shop equipment WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role. * Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time or until the end of the assigned shift. * Must be able to lift 40 lbs. safely and properly, as needed throughout the assigned shift with or without assistance. * Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder height, crouch, balance, and push/pull.
