Apartment leasing experience or experience in a customer service-related industry (i.e., retail sales, hospitality).
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete documents, lease agreements, and communicate effectively with residents.
Demonstrate ability to apply sales skills (generating sales leads, conducting presentations, qualifying prospects, and closing).
Must have mathematical skills at high school level to calculate prorated rents, deposits, etc.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS
High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.Knowledge and 1 to 2 years of experience in multi-family property management.TRAINING/CERTIFICATES/ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.Active/participatory apartment association membership preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities include preparation of vacant apartment homes for move-ins and ensuring that established standards are met and apartments are timely turned. When needed, will assist with pool maintenance and grounds keeping.
REPORTS TO: Community Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician
SUPERVISES: None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.Review the make-ready board and take direction from the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Manager to determine action to be taken on apartment homes.Make all repairs/replacements necessary for unit to be occupied as outlined on the make-ready checklist.Apply touch-up and full-paints as needed to interior and exterior of apartment homes.Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make-ready activity.Inspect completed apartment homes and schedules any necessary follow-up work before designating the unit as "Ready".Qualifications
