JOB SUMMARY
The Survey Technician I will execute technically complex land surveying assignments. The Survey Technician will also review survey maps and documents to assess technical accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal property laws and regulations.
INTER-RELATIONSHIPS
Employees, Managers, and Supervisors throughout the corporation.
MAJOR TASKS
Perform research of county, city, and other sources of record information on easements, deeds and other pertinent information, and utilize it to prepare working sketches for field crews.Utilize Trimble Business Center software to process field crew data and produce files for import into AutoCAD.Use field crew data files (points), field sketches, photos and reference maps to create survey base drawings.Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits.Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels, etc.Perform QA/QC procedures on work prepared by themselves and others.Other duties as assigned.JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Thorough understanding of mathematics used in field survey analysis.Thorough understanding and ability to apply methods and standards of technical report writing and computer-assisted surveying applications.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret a variety of maps, title reports, and legal descriptions.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to draft reports and letters.Civil Engineer Designer:

Site Civil Graduate Engineer PE preferred
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and the ability to be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in TexasAdditional consideration will be given to applicants who have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and are registered as an E.I.T. with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and can take the PE exam within 6 months.Preferred applicants will have one or more years of relevant civil engineering design and AutoCAD drafting experience.The Engineer PM will be responsible for producing construction plans and other documents for paving, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control.Grading and drainage design experience is a plus.The graduate engineer will be responsible for assisting project managers, project engineers, and designers with AutoCAD drafting, project coordination, engineering design, and meeting deadlines.AutoCAD proficiency is important and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.The graduate engineer must be highly organized and must possess strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.As a basic skill set, applicants must have engineering design experience/proficiency in site development projects including design of paving, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control.Ideal applicants will have experience with multiple project types which may include office, retail, general commercial, residential (single and/or multi-family), industrial, nursing/assisted living, etc. Experience with single family residential and commercial projects is preferred.Experience with municipal infrastructure design (water, wastewater, roadway, drainage, etc.) is a plus but not a requirement.Applicant must be self-motivated and highly dedicated to meeting deadlines and producing quality work.A friendly can-do attitude is a requirement of the job.Compensation will be negotiated based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications Read LessLOCALS ONLY PLEASE
JOB SUMMARY
The Party Chief will plan, organize, and direct work of one survey party engaged in land surveying to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, and areas to be used in the production of the final survey product.

MAJOR TASKS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Organize crew manpower and resources to perform assigned survey tasks quickly and efficiently.Manage daily work assignments/tasks of assigned field crew, including use of equipment, preparation of sketches and notes, and electronic data collection.Ensure field survey activities are performed in accordance with standards set by the company and industry standards of practice.Ensure crew’s adherence to all safety procedures and use of all required personal protective equipment.Daily communication with Field Supervisor and/or Project Manager managing the field survey operations on which the Party Chief is working.Conduct daily data collector downloading.Prepare daily time sheets, data logs, and expense reports.Mentor and train Rod Person/Instrument Tech on daily tasks as needed.Drive vehicles to and from job sites and company premises when needed.JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
