    Truck Sales Representative

    Salary + Commission: Total compensation package $100k+, comprised of base salary and commission. Competitive base salary coupled with enticing commission structure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships.Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to clients.Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to assigned regional, house accounts and local chains.Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services.Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.Achieves sales profit standards.Proposes customer terms based on customer profitability and credit worthiness.Maintains sales standards by account.Coordinates sales with the other departments to work toward a common goal.Adheres to sales policies and procedures.Maintains liaison relationship between Allegiance Trucks & Trailers and its customers.Market development within assigned territoryCustomer merchandising and program implementationCustomer pricing/profitability within corporate guidelinesCustomer terms within approved guidelinesLift up to 50 poundsCRM Module must be kept up to date, sales activities recorded and fully utilized.

    Required Experience:

    High School diploma or equivalentStrong written/verbal communication skills required.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work and learn independently.Knowledge of truck specifications.Familiarity with accounting and other computer software as needed for dealership operations.1 to 3 years of experience (Trucking/Transportation industry).

    Preferred Experience:

    While a CDL is not initially required, Allegiance Trucks is willing to assist the right candidate in acquiring one.Prior sales experience is preferred, but we welcome individuals with a strong drive to succeed and a willingness to learn.

    Overview:

    Ascendance is looking for a Part-Time Parts Counter Person. This role primarily sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily.     RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.Determines all incoming freight charges and bills appropriate repair order or sales order.Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.Pulls and fills orders from stock.Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.Notifies the body shop when all parts have arrived.Pulls orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.Follows up on back-ordered parts.Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.Replenishes assigned inventory daily.Assists outside sales representatives with their orders.Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.Solicits assigned accounts by phone.Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.Cleans computer terminals and printers daily.Participates in all training programs that are made available.Keeps current on new products and product updates.Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.Maintains professional appearance.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
