    Job DescriptionJob Description

    All Around Child is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and passionate Early Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where young children can build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

    The ideal candidate brings warmth, patience, and strong classroom management skills, along with a solid understanding of early childhood development. This position plays an important role in supporting children’s social-emotional growth, early academic readiness, and positive peer interactions during a key stage of development.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our curriculum and early learning standardsCreate a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independenceEnsure full compliance with KDHE licensing regulations and all health and safety proceduresSupport children’s social-emotional development, including cooperation, problem-solving, and self-regulationFoster language development, early literacy, and foundational math skills through play-based and hands-on learningUse positive guidance and effective classroom management strategiesEncourage independence with routines such as toileting, handwashing, and self-help skillsMaintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, observations, and assessmentsCommunicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians about their child’s progress and daily experiencesCollaborate with team members and leadership to maintain consistency and high-quality standardsParticipate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

    Qualifications

    Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or classroom setting is preferredStrong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices for ages 3–4Knowledge of childcare health and safety regulationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not required

    All Around Child is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where infants and toddlers can grow, explore, and thrive.

    The ideal candidate demonstrates warmth, patience, strong classroom management skills, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. This position plays a vital role in supporting children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth during their most formative years.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our curriculum and early learning standards.Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.Ensure full compliance with KDHE licensing regulations, including safe sleep practices and health/safety procedures.Provide individualized care and support to meet each child’s unique developmental needs.Foster secure attachments and promote social-emotional development.Utilize positive guidance and effective behavior management strategies.Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, developmental observations, and assessments.Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress and daily experiences.Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to maintain classroom consistency and quality standards.Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

    Qualifications
