    Position Overview:

    The Substitute Teacher will serve as a floating substitute, filling in for various subjects and grade levels as needed. This role is responsible for delivering lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, managing the classroom environment, and ensuring a positive and productive learning experience for students. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, and able to quickly adjust to different teaching styles and classroom dynamics.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Deliver lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction.Manage the classroom environment and maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.Assist students with assignments and provide guidance as needed.Uphold the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior.Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and ensure a cohesive educational experience.Adapt quickly to different subjects, teaching styles, and classroom settings.Follow school emergency procedures and respond appropriately to any incidents.
    Required Skills & Abilities:

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and staff.Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and instructional styles.Patience and flexibility in managing diverse student populations and classroom settings.Knowledge of educational best practices and instructional techniques.Excellent classroom management skills to maintain order and engagement.Ability to follow lesson plans and modify them as necessary to meet student needs.
    Education & Experience:

    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.Previous experience in a teaching or substitute role is preferred.
    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the school day.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for classroom materials, books, and supplies.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for record-keeping and lesson preparation.

    About the Role:

    The General Education Teacher will develop and implement individual educational plans for children, which support their development socially, intellectually, linguistically, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. The General Education Teacher will facilitate children's development of communication abilities, and content knowledge needed for future success in school, in accordance with each child's ability and based on the school's core components and local early learning standards. The General Education Teacher will be held responsible for implementing all program requirements in adherence to all performance and outcomes standards as prescribed by the multiple funding and model requirements.

    Qualifications:

    Position Overview: The Early Childhood Lead Teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate instruction for children ages 3-5 in alignment with Head Start Performance Standards. This role promotes school readiness, family engagement, and compliance while maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons.Maintain classroom ratios, active supervision, and a safe learning environment.Collaborate with Family Support Workers, Program Aides, and Site Supervisors.Utilize Teaching Strategies Gold for documentation, assessment, and family communication.Conduct required screenings and home visits within designated timeframes.Ensure curriculum fidelity, including individualized accommodations (IEPs/IFSPs).Maintain accurate child and teacher documentation, including CACFP records if applicable.Support dual language learners through the Planned Language Approach.Participate in professional development and mandated trainings.Assist with recruitment efforts and annual program self-assessment.Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and code of conduct.Perform other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills & Abilities:
