    Job Description:

    Provides on-site administrative and customer service support to the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Nellis Air Force Base in support of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP).Performs TAP participant intake, scheduling, data entry, and records management functions in accordance with Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.Supports office automation, correspondence preparation, workshop coordination, and document control activities.Serves as a front desk representative and primary administrative point of contact for Service Members and authorized customers.Ensures timely and accurate processing of administrative actions, documentation, and customer inquiries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet and assist walk-in and scheduled customers in a professional manner.Answer, screen, and route telephone calls and email inquiries.Conduct TAP participant intake and ensure proper documentation.Perform data entry into AFFIRST and other authorized systems with high accuracy.Schedule TAP workshops, counseling sessions, and briefings.Maintain calendars, room reservations, and appointment tracking.Prepare recurring and non-recurring correspondence, reports, emails, memorandums, and rosters.Maintain official records, electronic files, and suspense tracking systems.Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with Privacy Act requirements.Prepare classrooms and materials for workshops and events.Coordinate with M&FRC staff to ensure seamless administrative support.Meet established performance standards for accuracy and timeliness.

    Qualifications:

    Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.Education:High school diploma required.Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative experience supporting military, federal, or comparable organizational environments.Experience providing front desk customer service in a professional office setting preferred.Experience supporting military personnel services or transition programs highly desirable.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and suspense dates.Strong organizational and time management skills.Professional customer service demeanor.Ability to work independently in a non-personal services contract environment.

    Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience:

    Experience or familiarity with Air Force Family Integrated Reporting and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system preferred.Experience supporting DoD Transition Assistance Program (TAP) functions preferred.Knowledge of Air Force records management procedures (e.g., AFI 33-322 or successor guidance).Understanding of Privacy Act and protection of PII.Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).Familiarity with Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) preferred.

    Job Description:

    Provides front desk and administrative support services to the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Minot Air Force Base.Performs Transition Assistance Program (TAP) data entry and records management in accordance with Air Force and DoD regulations.Supports office automation, correspondence preparation, and document management functions.Serves as primary records custodian and maintains official files in compliance with Air Force records management policies.Ensures timely, accurate processing of administrative actions and customer inquiries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform data entry into DoD TAP, AFFIRST, Access databases, and other authorized systems with high accuracy.Prepare recurring and non-recurring correspondence, reports, emails, and memorandums.Maintain office records, file plans, publications, and suspense tracking systems.Screen calls and visitors, respond to non-technical inquiries, and provide follow-up within required timelines.Manage incoming/outgoing mail and electronic communications.Prepare classrooms for M&FRC classes and events (signage, equipment setup, materials preparation, cleanliness).Maintain compliance with DAFI 36-3009 and applicable Air Force, Global Strike Command, and local policies.Support monthly performance standards including accuracy thresholds and timeliness requirements.

    Qualifications:

    Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship

    Education:

    High school diploma required.Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative experience supporting military, federal, or comparable organizational environments.Experience with front desk operations and customer service in a professional setting preferred.Experience supporting government programs or military personnel services is highly desirable.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to grammar and formatting accuracy.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple suspense dates.Ability to work independently in a non-personal services environment.Strong customer service skills with tact and professionalism.

    Required DoD Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience:

    Experience or familiarity with DoD Transition Assistance Program (TAP) systems.Air Force Family Integrated Reporting and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system (preferred).Records management in accordance with Air Force Instructions (AFI 33-322 or successor guidance).Understanding of DoD 5200.2-R and basic personnel security requirements.Familiarity with TASS (Trusted Associate Sponsorship System) for CAC issuance (preferred).
