Facilities Coordinator
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing routine building maintenance and repairs for two office locations. This position includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional work environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of two office locations, including building systems and equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.Complete general building repairs and maintenance.Diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical issues.Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.Repair and maintain equipment, fixtures, furniture, and building structures as needed.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.Five (5) years of facilities maintenance experience preferred.Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Physical Requirements

Position Summary
This department is the face of Alabama Pain Physicians and requires patience, professionalism, empathy, strong communication, and time management. This role is responsible for front office support, patient check-in, insurance-related administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while maintaining accuracy and workflow efficiency.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for experienced candidates with strong insurance knowledge and prior physician office experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a professional and timely mannerCollect co-pays, balances, and patient payments accuratelyVerify demographic, insurance, and patient informationMaintain strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plansReview insurance eligibility, coverage details, and payer requirementsAssist with insurance verification, benefit-related questions, and front-end administrative supportManage cash, check, and credit card balancing as neededImport and organize documentation from front office systems and fax portalsRecord patient communication and correspondence accurately in EHR/EMRSupport scheduling, patient flow, and general front office operationsCommunicate professionally with patients, providers, and coworkersAssist with additional administrative tasks as assigned by managementQualifications
