    Position Summary

    This position requires a focus on customer satisfaction by maintaining and constantly improving warehouse operations to ensure the timely, quality handling and efficient delivery of products to our customers.


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Bachelors degree Materials Management or related field. Minimum 5 years senior level operations experience. Experience in third party logistics industry.Must be experienced working in Warehouse environment.Experience in systems implementation.Excelling interpersonal skills. Customer service oriented.Sense of urgency. Willing to travel. Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    Achieves warehouse operations - operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.



    Responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the supply chain and the organization to drive change and improvements for the organizationManages all supply chain initiatives, including vendor partners to ensure they meet all project and quality specifications domestically as well as internationallyManages all warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout.Oversee all processes related to planning, purchasing, inventory and quality assurance initiatives.Develop our workforces by training, assigning, scheduling and coaching employees; communicates job expectations, planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing policies and procedures.Recruit, hire, train and supervise employees in support of the storage, retrieval and supply functions as well as safety, quality and equipment maintenance. Setting and allocating targets to warehouse staff and organizing staff training activities.
    Organize continuous efforts to improve consolidation and transportation efforts as well as inventory controls.
    Responsible for working with managers, other supervisors, and employees from other departments to promote a team environment to achieve goals across all shifts.Plan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.Coordinate departmental productivity and inventory management goals.Maintain a harmonious work environment by resolving employee relations issues. in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.

    Job Summary:

    AJC Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Intern to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This internship provides hands-on exposure tologistics, ocean freight operations, and customer account management within our Eagle Logistics Systems division.


    The intern will support day-to-day operations while learning core logistics processes, including booking coordination, and customer communication. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain real-world supply chain experience, and contribute to live customer accounts.


    Responsibilities

    Support customer service efforts by assisting with communication and relationship management for assigned accountsHelp manage customer inquiries and ensure timely follow-upAssist in creating and maintaining shipment files(bookings, container specifications, sail dates, pre-billing etc.)Coordinate booking requests with steamship lines under supervisionSupport appointment scheduling and reportingAssist inshipment updates to customersHelp monitor and report discrepancies (damage, shortages, overages)Support documentation processes, including bills of ladingTrack sailing schedules and assist with system updates and customer notificationsParticipate in service issue investigations and support resolution efforts

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for an energetic problem solver with import/export and ocean freight experience to join our operations team in San Juan. The Logistics Specialist (Domestic) will be responsible for important logistics and customer service tasks and will be the primary point of contact for multiple accounts for our Eagle Logistics
    Systems division. You will be exposed to our talented workforce and diverse company culture while having the opportunity to make an impact on our business!


    Your Day-to-Day:
    Provide exceptional customer service while building relationships with new
    and existing customers.
    Manage all inquiries and request within a timely manner.
    Administer and create files with all booking necessary information (Purchase
    Order, Booking, Container Size, Temperature, Sail Date, etc).
    Organize booking requests with steamship lines through different means of
    communication.
    Manage and maintain all inventory onsite by planning, verifying
    appointments and providing visibility to customer.
    Send customer a daily on hand inventory report and appointment schedule.
    Ensure customer is up to date on all product discrepancies received
    (damage, shortage, and overage).
    Prepare all loading plans based on customers instructions and approved
    weight and/or cubes.
    Provide solutions and recommendations on loading customer freight.
    Supply manifest with final loading information to customer.
    Submit bill of ladings to steamship line according to commodity.
    Confirm sailings and update the system with accurate information. Notify the
    customer if sailing dates are different than originally planned.
    Facilitate service failure investigation/complaint and ensure corrective and
    preventive actions are in place.
    Assist all claim processes within a timely manner.
