    Job Description:

    Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aviation Electrical Technician to join our Electrical Bachshop team based in Columbus, MS .

    You will be part of the team to learn and perform work as an Electrical installer in the build-up and fabrication of electrical harnesses and components for use on aircraft.

    Your challenges:
    Apply the basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation. Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components. Lay-in route wires on form board, tying, lacing and apply appropriate anti-chaff protection. Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc

    Your boarding pass:
    Minimum of two (2) years of aircraft electrical experience in aviation. Avionics and Cabling Class (like offered by EMCC) is highly preferred.Must be able to read, write, and speak English.Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
    Physical Requirements:
    Onsite or remote: 95% Vision: must be able to see full spectrum of color. Able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.     Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Project Manager- (Contract) to join our Civil Programs Team based in Columbus, MS .

    In this role, you will be responsible for acquisition, completion, maintenance, repair and delivery of aircraft to Airbus Helicopters North American and global customers.     Export Control Management: 45% Serve as an Empowered Official and DECCS Administrator and manage the Aerovel s SNAP-R and ACE accounts; assist in management of the Part 122 and 129 Registration.     Read detailed plans and diagrams and inspect and measure parts prior to assembly, making sure parts are free of defects and are the right size. Install Sheet metal parts and assemblies in aircraft; assure that installations are attached without endangering aircraft structure or systems operations and functions. Fitting and assembling skins, frames, and other components. Work will consist of drilling, fitting, and riveting of the many sub-assemblies of the helicopter, including such items as tail booms and stabilizers. Work with inspectors to run tests to determine whether the parts are assembled properly.

    Your challenges:
    Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
    Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
    Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
    Follow all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.
    Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
    Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed, as required. Interface with customer for delivery; prepare for delivery inspection and any problems customer may discover.


    Your boarding pass:
    Minimum of six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience.
    Current A&P license OR 18 months of maintenance experience on Airbus manufactured helicopters.
    Helicopter maintenance experience, Airbus Helicopter airframe experience, and Safran Turbomeca engine experience are HIGHLY desirable.
    Must be able to read, write, and speak English
