Job Duties:
Installation and servicing of physical security systems, including CCTV, surveillance, access control, and other low-voltage systems.
Troubleshoot CCTV, cameras, access control systems.
Pull indoor and outdoor network cabling.
Terminate different types of network, and electrical cabling.
Install and repair fixed and mobile video surveillance camera systems.
Install and repair access control systems.
Troubleshoot basic DC electrical, IP network, and wireless issues in fixed and mobile equipment, including solar panels.
Travel to remote locations to provide our customers with the our services.

Summary of Functions
As a Senior LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Technician at Air Comm, you will play a pivotal role in the installation and maintenance of wireless communications systems. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver imaginative solutions tailored to their requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install and support wireless communications systems, including complex radio systems for public safety and enterprise customers.Create high-level programming code plugs for systems such as P25, Linked CAP+, CAP MAX, and Repeaters.Provide system recommendations and designs that align with customer requirements.Diagnose, repair, program, and install LMR RF equipment.Demonstrate a complex understanding of two-way radio theory and RF propagation characteristics across various frequency bands.Conduct installations and servicing of complex wireless communications systems, including UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems, dispatch consoles, and microwave systems.Utilize proficiency in IP networking and RF design and engineering principles.Operate test equipment such as communications service monitors, watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, and multimeters.Utilize MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes.Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.Experience/Education
Two plus years of experience in creating high-level programming code plugs, installing, and servicing complex wireless communications systems, and providing system recommendations.Professional electronics background.Proven experience in operating test equipment (Communications Service Monitors, Watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, Multimeters)Must be able to successfully pass and maintain the ability to pass background checks and obtain security clearances, as well as possess and maintain a clean driving record.High school diploma/GED or equivalent.Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.Company will provide additional training, as necessary.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Air Comm is a well-established two-way radio, wireless communications, and CCTV/Access Control service provider in the Tempe, AZ area. We are in need of an experienced CCTV/Surveillance/Access Control Technician to install, commission, and repair CCTV camera and access control systems for our customers in the Tempe, AZ and surrounding areas. The CCTV and Access Control systems are primarily Avigilon, but can be any make/model.
Job Duties:
Installation and servicing of physical security systems, including CCTV, surveillance, access control, and other low-voltage systems.
Troubleshoot CCTV, cameras, and access control systems.
Pull indoor and outdoor network cabling.
Terminate different types of network and electrical cabling.
Install and repair fixed and mobile video surveillance camera systems.
Install and repair access control systems.
Troubleshoot basic DC electrical, IP network, and wireless issues in fixed and mobile equipment, including solar panels.
Travel to remote locations to provide our customers with the above services.
Train other techs in CCTV, Surveillance, and access control systems and their installation, including repair and troubleshooting.
Work with other trades, subcontractors, and customers in a polite and professional manner.
Document all work, milestones, and project deficiencies using specified systems.
Minimum 1+ years of experience with the installation and service of physical security systems, Access Control, and CCTV.
Working knowledge of IP networking, subnets, VLANS, gateways, and IP addressing
Experience with basic DC electricity and the use of a Multimeter/DMM.
Experience working at heights on a ladder, man lift, or bucket truck.
Ability to do device installation, equipment mounting, and connecting the system to the customer network.
Comprehension of mechanical systems, digital circuits, and electrical systems to enable installation and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret building floor plans and diagrams.
Use of basic hand and power tools.
Use test equipment to verify installation.
Troubleshoot basic issues across various CCTV/Surveillance/Access Control systems.
Ability to obtain appropriate licensures.
Ability to perform physical tasks like walking, standing, driving, lifting up to 50lbs, and ascending / descending ladders and stairs with little to no limitation.
A valid AZ driver’s license.
Ability to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.
Ability to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
