    What's involved in this role:

    We are looking for a Production Coordinator in Hull, Iowa .

    The Production Coordinator works with and assists the Planning and Distribution Manager with tasks related to production and supply chain activities. The Production Coordinator will ensure that the process orders are completed and closed in a timely manner to ensure functionality of the planning system within SAP. This role will also be responsible for the transaction of materials in the process orders as well as the accuracy of this information.

    Assist and work under the supervision/authority of the Planning and Distribution Manager.Gather, track, review and close process orders in the SAP system.Research any process order discrepancies.Ensure the accuracy of the lot and quantity information upon transacting in process orders for the consumption of materials and/or semi-finished goods.Review of documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Serve as the liaison between the quality and production departments by monitoring OOS production and obtaining rechecks.Conduct daily checks to ensure the proper reconciliation of HUs between MES and SAP.Assist with Inventory Control by providing previous knowledge of counts as well as leading End-of-month inventory of finished and semi-finished goods.Assist with production related process improvements and updates.Conduct situation analysis, reporting, problem solving and communicate proactively with team members regarding issues.Participate in daily communication with Planning and Distribution Manager to ensure all relevant information is cascaded to the control tower meetings.Serve as a backup for Production Schedulers optimizing the production schedules and releasing process orders where necessary.May fill in for the Warehouse Clerk to assist with releasing of EWM tasks, checking in carriers, and entering in and printing of delivery notes for inbounds.Understand, operate, and able to train others in SAP, MES system, and RF gun.

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.Effectively perform and assist in repair or updating and installation of equipment.Perform troubleshooting of equipment, including both electrical and mechanical systems.Complete and update work orders using in-house systems.Complete and maintain routine and preventive records and logs.     What you'll be responsible for each day:

    The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure that materials and products meet established standards. The role involves performing routine tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products, as well as maintaining accurate records of testing data. The QC Technician I works closely with production and other departments to resolve quality issues, ensuring product food safety, quality, and compliance with both internal and external standards.

    Perform various testing procedures on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, including microbiological and chemical tests.

    Monitor quality parameters, ensuring that they align with production standards and regulatory requirements (may include document review).

    Record and communicate data from tests, identifying trends and discrepancies.

    Collect samples for testing and prepare them according to established protocols.

    Ensure facility equipment is in proper calibration and maintained to comply with Good Laboratory GLP and Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions (SOP/OPI).

    Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues, contributing to the development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

    Support compliance facility quality plan with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and FSP/HACCP systems.

    Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including electronic systems which generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) and other required reports.

    Support collaboration with operations on sampling and testing activities to resolve non-conformance issues and support quality continuous improvement initiatives.

    Assist in internal audits and support audit readiness, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

    Conduct environmental monitoring, including sampling and equipment swabbing.

    Provide training to production staff on quality control processes and standards.

    Participate in equipment validations and process change management.
