THE POSITION
AGCEA has an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Process Technician in our Finishing department on our Day Shift. Incumbents in this position will operate automated and manual grinding tools and various sandblasting equipment on prescribed materials to remove the remaining excess material and create a smooth surface finish, according to specific procedures.

Responsibilities
Prepares and operates manual/automatic equipment to process products through cleaning processes Follows strict safety policies, including wearing Personal Protective Apparel, due to working with various acids, including "bunny" suits in the Cleanroom, following strict cleanroom protocol. Ensures the correct strength/mix of the acid in the tanks Operates a baking furnace, including setup Finishes product with a fine sandblast process Inspects product to ensure product quality Packages finished product in preparation for shipping Performs other tasks in finishing area as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Basic ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related chemical experience Ability to use database systems for timekeeping, managing workflow, understanding product routers, and ensuring quality. JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for improving business performance by identifying, designing, and delivering process and system enhancements that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, strengthen compliance, and increase operational efficiency across AGC Electronics America. This role works in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional stakeholders to understand how work is performed, define improved future-state processes, and translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions using technology, streamlined workflows, and data-driven decision making. The BSA leads initiatives from discovery through implementation and adoption, including requirements definition, project planning, stakeholder alignment, testing, training, and measurement of outcomes. The BSA partners closely with the ERP and Data Solutions Engineer (ERP and data platform owner), MIS team members, and external vendors to ensure solutions align with approved business processes, internal controls, security requirements, and sustainability standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Identify opportunities for process and system improvement across Operations, Quality, Engineering, Materials, and administrative functions, with a focus on reducing manual work, re-entry, delays, and errors.Perform structured discovery and needs analysis using interviews, workshops, job shadowing, and review of SOPs, forms, and system data to document current-state workflows and pain points.Define future-state processes and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications suitable for configuration, automation, integration, or vendor implementation.Establish and maintain a prioritized improvement backlog, including intake, triage, sizing, sequencing, and transparent status reporting aligned to business value and resource capacity.Lead end-to-end delivery for assigned initiatives, including scope definition, project planning, risk and dependency management, stakeholder communication, and coordination of internal and external resources.Partner with the ERP and Data Solutions Engineer to evaluate solution options, confirm feasibility, align on data standards, assess system impacts, and coordinate build, release, and support transitions.Ensure solutions support compliance needs, including appropriate approvals, audit trails, record retention, segregation of duties considerations, and documentation required for internal controls and ISO-related processes.Support analysis and improvement of data flow and information handoffs between systems and teams, including defining data mapping needs, validation rules, and operational ownership for exception handling.Use Excel, SQL, and Power BI to perform analysis, establish baselines, identify root causes, develop meaningful KPIs, and validate outcomes after implementation.Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution support, defect tracking, and business sign-off.Drive adoption by developing training and communications, updating SOPs and work instructions as needed, and supporting the business through change and stabilization.Create and maintain process and solution documentation sufficient to support sustainability, auditability, and knowledge transfer.Collaborate with MIS team members to align solutions to company standards for security, access, data governance, and operational support.Perform other related duties within the employee's capabilities as needed to support MIS and company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum five years of experience performing business analysis, business systems analysis, process improvement, or similar work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Demonstrated ability to map processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into implementable solutions that improve efficiency and data quality.Strong project leadership skills, including planning, stakeholder management, communication, and execution discipline through implementation and adoption.Advanced Excel skills, including analysis, data cleansing, and structuring data for reporting and decision making.Hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries for analysis and data validation.Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, controls, and data accuracy.Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:
Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (Infor CloudSuite Industrial preferred).Experience with workflow tools, forms digitization, and business process automation (Power Platform or similar).Experience defining requirements for integrations (API, EDI, iPaaS, or RPA), including data mapping and exception handling processes.Experience supporting process and system controls such as approvals, audit trails, user access principles, and segregation of duties considerations.Experience with document and record control concepts, including versioning, review/approval workflows, retention, and audit readiness.Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience (certification a plus).Experience working in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.AGC is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer
