Job Responsibilities: Drive Class A CDL Amazon freight on scheduled round-trip regional routes. Complete 22-hour route blocks (11 hours drive, 10-hour reset, 11 hours return). Use Amazon's technology for navigation and communication. Ensure safe, on-time, and reliable delivery every trip. You're a Great Fit If You Are: A safe, defensive driver with a clean record. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Comfortable with technology (GPS, ELDs, smartphone apps). Flexible and professional-able to meet Amazon's high safety and performance standards. This position is ideal for a safety-focused driver who can also assist with light-duty mechanical repairs to help reduce downtime and support fleet readiness. Key Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report mechanical issues. Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks such as: Replacing bulbs, fuses, and windshield wipers Adjusting airlines and electrical lines Topping off fluids (oil, coolant, DEF, etc.) Greasing fifth wheels and tightening loose components Coordinate with dispatch and the maintenance team to address truck issues promptly.
