    Role Overview:We are looking for a Senior Engineer in our CLAMS (calibration, localization, and mapping) team. You will be working on implementing SOTA methods in state estimation, online calibration, optimizing, and deploying Aeva’s 4D FMCW LiDAR algorithms to production and push autonomous driving performance.What you will do:Contribute to Aeva’s 4D state estimation and calibration stack that will be deployed in productionAbility to quickly prototype novel algorithms, implement them and iterate fastEnsure code is optimized for performance and scalabilityAdhere to coding standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in all codeTake ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely and accurate completion with documentation and testsWhat you have:Have a MS or PhD in a relevant program such as Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similarHighly skilled in C++ development with 5+ years experience with the Linux environment2+ years of experience with extrinsic calibration methods (online or offline)Experience with techniques such as Kalman Filtering, Bayesian Methods, and Sensor Fusion (with LiDAR/IMU/GNSS)Strong fundamentals of linear algebra and 3D geometryDemonstrated ability to create and deploy real-time state estimation or SLAM systemsExperience with 3D data / representations (point clouds, meshes, etc.) and algorithmsSkilled in scripting languages such as Python and BashNice to have:Knowledge of working principles for RADARs or LiDARsExperience with robotics or autonomous vehicle software frameworks such as ROS/ROS2 or similarExperience with modern build systems such as Bazel or similarWhat’s in it for you:Be part of a fast-paced and dynamic teamVery competitive compensation and meaningful stock grantsExceptional benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and moreUnlimited PTO: We care about results, not punching timecardsSalary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.     Role Overview:We are looking for Software Development Engineers with an emphasis on Embedded systems.
