This position can be based anywhere in the United States however, will require 100% travel to various client sites in Latham, NY, Albuquerque, NM, or Mechanicsburg, PA and others as required. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Environmental construction team setting Operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, compactors, excavators, scrapers, skid steers and other pieces of equipment Other duties as assigned Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of industry experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. This position requires 100% travel. High concern in adherence with safety procedures. Physically able with or without an accommodation to work in outdoor environments with uneven terrain, variable outdoor conditions including heat cold, moist, dry, dust, noise. Requires working in an environment of heavy, moving dangerous equipment and occasionally chemicals, radiation, and vibration. Position requires frequent operation of construction yellow iron equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, trucks, rollers, scrapers, or other yellow iron equipment. Frequently working in an environment of heavy, moving dangerous equipment. Frequently lifting and occasionally carrying, moving, or loading various objects such as tools, equipment, boxes, and fabric rolls up to 45 lbs. with or without assistance. Frequently standing and moving around project to perform job duties. Frequent repetitive hand movements to perform tasks and operate equipment such as an excavator. Also, power gripping and/or squeezing various hand tools, and levers to perform tasks and operate equipment. Must wear all associated personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, shoes, hard hat, and hearing protection. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of industry experience. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training. 8-hour Annual HAZWOPER Refresher training. 10-hour OSHA Construction Outreach training. In site stabilization, MCP, dredging, construction oversight, PCB's landfill capping and demolition.
