Seeking a strong, healthy, and outdoor-loving individual to rent pedal boats, kayaks, and canoes at the Hanna Park kayak shack, located on the park's freshwater lake. Requires lifting/moving heavy kayaks a short distance from a storage cage to the shoreline. This job is outdoors in warm to hot weather with only fans in the kayak shack. You must be able to tolerate this. The ideal candidate is an ACA certified kayak instructor (or would like to become one), has their own reliable transportation, loves to be in the sun, is physically active and healthy, and likes to be around people. Training will be provided. In addition to renting boats, you will be selling drinks and packaged ice cream. Work hours are: March 1 to July 31 Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 6pm, August 1 to February 30 Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
