Assists physicians and advanced practice providers with medical equipment and procedures as needed. Maintains timely communication with patients regarding surgery, prescriptions, and testing. Ensures efficient patient work-up flow and triage responsibilities. Documents patient medications, messages, sample medications, and pharmacy information accurately and legibly. Stays current with new technology and updates on care and medications. Assists with prior authorizations, referrals, and procedural scheduling. Controls supplies and maintains inventory weekly. Contributes to the growth of the practice by managing patient flow and recommending follow-up visits if needed. Assists with Development Conversations for clinical staff. Attends POC meetings.
