    POSITION SUMMARY

    Summary: We are looking for a dependable and experienced Licensed Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, light commercial, and light industrial settings - no new construction - primarily service residential. The ideal candidate is licensed, safety-focused, and confident working independently or on a crew. You'll be responsible for interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring code compliance, and delivering quality workmanship on every job. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction are essential.

    Compensation: $50-60.00 USD per hour, non-exempt status, plus incentive potential.

    Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, weekends and Over Time as needed.

    Work Location: 9089 SE Jannsen Rd., Clackamas, OR 97015. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. Occasional travel may be required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematicsTroubleshoot electrical problems and perform accurate diagnostics to identify root causesUpgrade or retrofit electrical systems to meet code requirements and project specificationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sitesCommunicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients to ensure job clarity and customer satisfactionMaintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each jobTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as multimetersCollaborate with other trades (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry) as needed to complete projects efficientlyParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency or after-hours service callsMaintain a clean, organized work environment and company vehicle if assignedAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols and ensure OSHA compliance at all times

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The qualifications we are seeking for this role include:

    Education & Experience:

    Valid state-issued Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required)3+ years of experience as a licensed electrician in residential and/or commercial environmentsStrong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codesProficient with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and qualityClean driving record and valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions

    Technical & Physical Skills:

    Ability to work independently and with a team.Knowledge of local and NEC electrical codes and OSHA safety standards.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Soft Skills & Competencies:

    Strong communication and leadership abilities.Dependable, detail-oriented, and well-organized.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under pressure.Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Onsite Office Environment:

    Business operations are 24 hours, 7 days a week. A typical work week is 40 hours; however, overtime and work on weekends are common and expected if scheduled or called in.A collaborative workspace that may require occasional meetings and team discussions.Access to necessary office equipment and technology for administrative tasks.

    Client/Customer Home Sites:

    Frequent travel to various residential and commercial locations for installation, maintenance, and repair work.Work may be performed in diverse environments, including attics, basements, and outdoor spaces, often in varying weather conditions.Physical demands include lifting heavy equipment, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.Interaction with clients requires professional communication and customer service skills.

    Environmental Exposures:

    Extreme temperatures (working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, or snow)Confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, utility closets)Poor ventilation or dusty environmentsWorking at heights (rooftops, ladders, scaffolding)

    Essential Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to walk, stoop, squat, climb, balance, and reach above the head regularly throughout the workday.Must use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Must be able to talk, hear, and drive a company vehicle.Must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing 50-100 lbs.Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme weather conditions.

    Schedule Requirements:

    Work hours are based on operational needs and crew scheduling.Evening and weekend work may be required, particularly during peak periods, urgent installations, or special projects.

    Travel Requirements:

    Travel required; occasional off-site meetings or training sessions may be necessary.
