Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Billing Specialist located in Lees Summit, MO. The Billing Specialist will be
responsible for managing the billing process, work closely with billing company, generating and reviewing invoices, and
ensuring timely and accurate client billing. Daily responsibilities include coordinating accounting tasks, resolving discrepancies,
and communicating effectively with clients and team members, physicians, and billing company to support smooth financial
operations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in the Billing Process, Insurance billing and Client Billing
Experience with Invoicing and related procedures
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
Attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Familiarity with healthcare billing systems is a MUST
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance and pt billing
