Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is comfortable working with an older patient population. This role is a key part of our care team, supporting both clinical operations and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical historiesPrepare patients for exams and assist physicians during visitsPerform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical procedures as neededManage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely visitsDocument in the EMR system accurately and in real-time, including preparing chartsCoordinate lab work, referrals, and follow-up careCommunicate clearly and compassionately with patients and familiesAssist with administrative tasks as needed to support office operationsQualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and stay composed under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency with EMR systems (specifically eClinicalWorks a plus)Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)Confidence in phlebotomy skills preferredExperience working with geriatric patients or other challenging phlebotomy cases is a plusWhat We Offer
