Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and detail-oriented Med Tech / Resident Caregiver to provide medication administration, personal care, and support to our residents. This role requires a compassionate approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to resident safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.Monitor resident health and report changes or concerns to Wellness staff.Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.Promote a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.Engage residents in social and recreational activities.Qualifications:
Current Florida 6-Hour Medication Technician (Med Tech) and CPR/FA certifications.High school diploma or equivalent.Compassionate, patient, and dependable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements. Job Title: Maintenance Director
Location: Cape Coral, FL
Facility Type: 100-Bed Assisted Living Facility (ALF)
Reports To: Executive Director / Administrator
Position Summary
The Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, and appearance of the facility. This role ensures compliance with all applicable local, state (including Florida Agency for Health Care Administration), and federal regulations, while maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities/Facility Maintenance & Operations
Oversee daily maintenance operations for a 100-bed ALF, including resident rooms, common areas, and groundsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systemsEnsure timely completion of work orders and maintenance requestsMaintain building systems to minimize downtime and disruptionsRegulatory Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all Florida Agency for Health Care Administration regulations and local codesMaintain life safety compliance (fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, generators)Coordinate fire drills and safety inspections in accordance with National Fire Protection Association standardsMaintain required documentation for inspections, audits, and surveysSupervision & Team Leadership
Supervise maintenance staff (typically 1–2 associates)Schedule staff and assign daily tasksTrain team members on safety procedures and proper equipment useCoordinate with housekeeping, Wellness, and administration teamsVendor & Contractor Management
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providersObtain bids and oversee contracted work (landscaping, pest control, HVAC, etc.)Ensure contractors meet compliance and safety standardsBudget & Inventory Control

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade certification preferred3–5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare, assisted living, or hospitalityPrior supervisory experience strongly preferredKnowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systemsFamiliarity with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration requirements for ALFsUnderstanding of OSHA safety standardsAbility to read blueprints and technical manualsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsLicenses/Certifications (Preferred or Required)
Valid Florida driver’s license RequiredEPA certification for HVAC (if applicable)Fire safety or life safety certification (preferred)Candidates must have prior experience in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and/or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment and possess a strong understanding of healthcare facility operations and regulatory compliance.Physical Requirements
