Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and AberdeenPart of the University of Maryland Medical SystemUniversity hospital with excellent specialty supportAverage 15 patients/dayClosed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codesStaffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPsEMR: EPICBeds 257Trauma Level Level IIGraduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ProgramResponsibilities include providing acute inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing evening hospital rounds and cross coverage of patients on service. Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work side by side with our physicians as clinical colleagues.About the Facility
