    Opportunity:


    Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech



    Job Details:


    • Work 5x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

    • On-call requirements: approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks

    • Must have experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience

    • Minimum 1 year of experience required

    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)

    • Perform complex cardiac interventions as first assistant to operator

    • Utilize advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, and CTO equipment

    • Assist with insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold, balloon/stent prep and deployment

    • Maintain sterile field and perform scrub procedures

    • Handle equipment setup, stock supplies, and work as room circulator

    • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • Must be willing to float within the facility and across the health system as requested

    • Complete any assigned education within one week of assignment

    • Subject to mandatory cancellation with 1.5 hours notice, up to one shift per two-week pay period

    This acute care hospital is a 554-bed teaching facility and Level I Trauma Center that features a brand new catheterization lab with seven state-of-the-art rooms equipped with Philips Azurion systems. The facility offers western-facing windows with scenic views and provides dedicated private call rooms with showers specifically for Cath Lab staff. The department benefits from dedicated EVS and turnover staff seven days a week, including overnight coverage, and utilizes Epic charting system with free parking available for staff.

    • On-call requirements: 3-5 shifts per month

    • Work every weekend

    • Operate two CT units: 64-Slice CT scanner with bariatric table for patients up to 660 pounds and 3D imaging stations for coronary screenings, plus second spiral CT

    • Use equipment including Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilian One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis

    • 18 months of CT experience required

    • Experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilian One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis equipment required

    • Recent experience in a Trauma Level I facility within 6 months required

    • Required certifications: Venipuncture Certificate, ARRT (CT), CRT license, BLS (AHA)

    • All certifications must be current at time of submission

    • CT Skills Checklist current within the past year required

    • One supervisory reference from the past year of employment required

    • Must live 30+ miles from facility location
