    Pay: $16 hourly

    Schedule: One day per week. FRIDAYS only - from 7:00AM to 2:00PM.

    Description: Jumping and starting vehicles in the lanes to keep our operations flowing smoothly on sale day.

    Sale day driving and safety:

    Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines including but not limited to wearing a seatbelt, placing vehicle in park or neutral when coming to a stop and following the ADESA wedge.Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.Advise supervisor or lane captain of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediatelyDrivers will be trained and must know, practice and ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed at-all-times.Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habitsImmediately report to manager or supervisor anything that occurs which may potentially jeopardize the ability to physically or legally operate a motor vehicle.Immediately report to manager or supervisor all driving related incidents to include traffic citations, warnings, accidents or mechanical problems experienced on either private or public property whether on or off the job

    Qualifications

    Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.Basic computer skills are required.Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.Ability to jump start a vehicle.

    Role and Team

    Reporting to the General Sales Manager or designated manager, plan, implement and coordinate the outside operations and functions of one or more of the following departments: Consignment, Factory, Fleet/Lease, Commercial Account or Sales in accordance with corporate guidelines to ensure maximum dollar sales volume in the most profitable way possible.

    Responsibilities

    Help with physical inventory.Review and write repair orders and coordinate with shops for vehicles that need repairs.May track missing units and assist transporters in locating vehicles.May ensure arbitrated units are restocked into inventory and proper announcements are made.Help when/where needed with snow removal on the lot.Assist the team with moving cars and preparing for sale each week.Assist Operations Manager with daily van crew operation. Make sure everyone is in the correct van for the start of the day.Ensure all cars are being moved in a timely manner and parked in the correct spot and/or stock area.Field issues and concerns from employees and discuss with Operations Manager if needed.Distribute Temporary Staffing to accommodate workload and meet expectations. Scan Temporary workers in and out for the day.Oversee department when Operations Manager is absent.Complete paperless billing in Auction Trac when Operations Manager is absent.Ensure vans are clean, neat and report any mechanical issues to Operations Manager.Ensure coordinators are marking up run lists.Organize factory account recalls and Bravo lists.Ensure stock is neat and organized.Train new employees including temporary staff.Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Customer Service and/or Auction experience.Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

    Role and Team

    Reporting to the designated manager, assist with the outside and/or administrative functions of one or more of the following departments: Dealer Consignment, Commercial Accounts or Retail Accounts.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in assuring vehicle inventory is in the proper designated areas of the lot or shops.     Sale day driving and safety

    Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines including but not limited to wearing a seatbelt, placing vehicle in park or neutral when coming to a stop and following the ADESA wedge.
    Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.
    Advise supervisor or lane captain of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately
    Drivers will be trained and must know, practice and ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed at-all-times.
    Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits
    Immediately report to manager or supervisor anything that occurs which may potentially jeopardize the ability to physically or legally operate a motor vehicle.

    Qualifications
