    Responsibilities

    Prepare accurate estimates for commercial HVAC Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and Commissioning projectsPerform quantity takeoffs from mechanical drawings and specificationsReview project plans, specifications, and bidder listsSupport the immediate needs of project schedules and bid deadlinesCoordinate with internal departments throughout the estimating processAssist with pre-engineering activities following project awardLearn and utilize our CAD software to prepare project documentationMaintain organized estimate files and project records


    Qualifications

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly meticulous, data-driven HR Generalist to spearhead our payroll and human resources operations. In this role, you will own the execution of our fast-paced weekly payroll cycles, supporting a workforce of approximately 110 team members, including 25 corporate office employees and 85 field technicians operating across multiple states. Because this role directly impacts multi-state field compensation, absolute data entry accuracy, a passion for numbers, and a zero-mistake mindset are critical for success.

    Key Payroll & Field Compensation Responsibilities

    Weekly Payroll Execution: Run full-cycle, weekly payroll for our office staff and multi-state field technicians with absolute precision and on-time completion.Monthly Commission Management: Calculate, verify, and process complex monthly commissions, ensuring strict alignment with incentive plans.Per Diem & Car Allowance Administration: Accurately process and track field per diems, travel stipends, and car allowances.Job Costing & Time Verification: Actively audit technician timesheets to ensure time posted to specific jobs is 100% accurate.

    General HR & Administrative Responsibilities

    The Importance of Accuracy: Maintain an airtight verification process for all personnel updates, ensuring zero errors in data entry.High-Volume Data Entry: Efficiently input employee life-cycle data, salary adjustments, field tracking variables, and allowance allocations into spreadsheets and payroll records.Employee Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for office staff and field technicians regarding withholdings, paycheck differences, allowances, and commission payouts.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Payroll Experience: HR/payroll experience, featuring a desired background in weekly processing.QuickBooks: Hands-on, proficient experience utilizing QuickBooks explicitly for payroll processing.Spreadsheet & Job Costing Focus: Exceptional, advanced skills in managing complex.Soft Skills: Extreme attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude, absolute confidentiality, and excellent communication habits for supporting remote technicians.
