SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Focus on Customer Satisfaction
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Stay up to date on all available Factory TrainingExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications"Fix it right the first time"Communicate directly with the Service Manager, in reference to recommended repairsExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsMaintain Skill Levels Must have a strong sense of urgencyWould prefer Honda or Acura experience but all will be considered.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Acura Service Technician position at Acura of Avon offers a competitive flat rate/hourly wage. Our employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Acura vehicles
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain recommended repairs and provide updates on repair status
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and education programs provided by Acura
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational school degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician
• ASE certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Dependable and driven personality
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
