For instance, many women having the diagnosis of multiple cesarean sections or placenta previa/acreta/percreta are told by their obstetricians to seek their care elsewhere. Taking care of a woman with her 10th cesarean or a very complicated placenta acreta/percreta is a common practice for him.

Requirements
Master of Science degree in Nursing or DNP required. Successful completion and graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery preferred. Current RN license required. Current national certification as a Nurse Midwife preferred. Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting required, with previous experience in women's health, gynecology, obstetrics or nurse midwifery preferred. C-Section/First Assist in surgery experience preferred. Current CPR certification required.
