They also diagnose and treat visual problems and manage diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eyes. They conduct eye examinations, prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed. The Optometrist ensures that the primary goal of efficiently providing vision care services that exceed customer expectations is achieved, while improving clinical and financial operations. Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
