What You'll Be Doing:
Provide direct instruction aligned with IEPs and student needs
Track and report progress, and collaborate on academic goals
Communicate regularly with families and school teams
Use creativity and flexibility to adapt lessons to each student's learning style
Bring patience, empathy, and structure into every classroom moment
Requirements for the Special Education Teacher Role:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Active Special Education Certification in Pennsylvania
Experience working with children (school-based experience is a plus)
Up-to-date clearances and background checks (or willing to obtain)
Excellent references and a commitment to student success
