SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing non-complex maintenance and repairs on a variety of routine manufacturing repairs, including mechanical equipment an all operations related to manufacturing. Assist in maintaining grounds of facility. Backup other maintenance personnel on projects as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform maintenance and repairs involving some of the following: Observes functioning of all areas of the production facility to detect hazards, problems and the need for service repair and or replacement of mechanical components.Troubleshoot diagnose and repair mechanical system problems such as motor starters, proximity switches, photo-eyes, contactor, and relaybase, using root cause analysis principles and taking corrective action to repairing or replacing electrical and mechanical component.Respond to work order requests, completing in a timely manner and closing ticketsFollow preventive maintenance schedule for manufacturing. Keep neat and accurate repair records and other department information such as walk-throughs and daily inspection on equipment in the building. Demonstrate professionalism and self-motivation in order to perform routine duties, and assist others including outside vendors, as scheduled or requiredIdentify and troubleshoot sources of mechanical failure.
