    Position Overview:


    The Warehouse Customer Service Specialist serves as a key point of contact between customers and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for managing communications regarding incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely handling of goods, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive and responsive service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of logistics and warehouse processes.



    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Customer CommunicationServe as the primary liaison for customers regarding warehouse shipments (inbound/outbound)
    Respond promptly to inquiries about shipment status, delays, discrepancies, and special handling requestsProvide shipment confirmations, PODs, and relevant documentation as requestedShipment Coordination
    Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goodsTrack and update customer shipment schedules, delivery appointments, and dock assignments
    Work with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pickups and deliveries
    Documentation and System Updates
    Accurately maintain records of shipments, inventory movements, and customer communications
    Input and update shipment data in the warehouse management system (WMS)
    Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures for
    documentation
    Problem Resolution
    Investigate and resolve customer issues such as shipment delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies
    Escalate complex or unresolved issues to management and follow through until resolution
    Collaboration and Support
    Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to align priorities and execution
    Support inventory cycle counts, audits, and reporting as neededAssist in process improvements related to customer service and warehouse efficiency
