    Job Responsibilities

    Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracyStock, label, and organize medical supplies in designated storage areas and hospital unitsMonitor product levels, rotate stock, and track expiration dates to maintain supply readinessProcess returns, manage back orders, and assist with routine cycle countsMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment while following supply chain protocolsCollaborate with hospital staff, vendors, and logistics partners to meet daily supply needsLearn the layouts, systems, and protocols of multiple client facilities and adapt quickly to new environmentsTrain and mentor new technicians, modeling best practices and helping onboard team members at client sitesPerform interim duties between placements, including courier driving, driver audits, technician audits, or other tasks as assigned


    Qualifications

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Experience

The Operations Manager fulfills the company mission to help customers and business partners achieve their patient care goals through effective leadership and application of expertise in supply chain logistics.     Accurate Courier Services (ACS) has been providing dependable time-critical delivery services for over 20 years. As a leader in our field, we provide logistics/courier services to hospital systems, medical foundations, pharmacies, and laboratories.ACS is a top-flight medical courier operation. We are a team of motivated individuals responsible for moving critical parcels (specimens, cultures, etc.) within hospital networks.     ACS is looking for a dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be providing administrative and logistical dispatching assistance professionally to our drivers and customers. You will coordinate and manage efficient and effective delivery methods for our Medical Courier Drivers.


    Available Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am - 5:30 pm

    Job Duties Include

    Dispatch delivery orders and relay messages and special instructions to delivery driversUtilize standard forecasting process to generate optimal deliveries, then determine manpower requirements and schedule routes Assist management in monitoring and reviewing service issues, contacting customers to communicate said issues, and making corrective changes when needed
    Support the management staff through effective communication and contingency planning
    Communicate with delivery drivers and field offices to gather quality data to enhance customer service and delivery efficiencyReview inefficient deliveries, making corrections to improve efficiencyAssist in the coordination of safety and DOT regulations


    Minimum Requirements

    Prior Dispatch experience (Preferred)Valid and clean California State drivers licenseSubmit and pass the required drug screeningHigh School diploma or GED equivalentYou must be flexible with scheduling as on-call, weekend, and holiday hour rotations are a necessity of the position.
