An Ohio hospital system is seeking an experienced PA/NP to provide inpatient/outpatient care for Cardiothoracic Surgery patients on a locum tenens basis. We're offering $120/hr, plus $235/night when on-call. Complimentary malpractice coverage provided, as well as travel reimbursement.
Dates of Coverage: 10 days/month covering over two weekend. January-April then TBDPractice Setting: Clinic Hours, Inpatient, Floor, Post-Op, and ICU coverageSchedule (Shifts/Hours): 8:00 -4:00 M-F, plus night call 4pm-8amCall Schedule: 10 days of call/monthCall Ratio: 1:3Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1Will APP be Working Autonomously: YesSupervising Physician Present During Assignment: Physician will round daily and be available 24/7 by phoneRequired Duties: Suture Removal, Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care, Rounding, Pre-Op Physical ExamsPatient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): Adult/geriatricEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days if file is clean. will try to expediteAn Ohio License or willingness to obtain is required.
