We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant- Urgent Care And Primary Care to join our team! Each week, you would work four daytime shifts of ten hours each. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. We are ideally looking for someone who wants to gain experience in our medical setting to move towards a higher degree, like PA or medical school.
Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with medical procedures as necessaryBlood draws and injectionsAssist with patients' medications and treatmentsAssess patient health through interviews and physical examinationsCommunicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goalsMaintain patient medical recordsFacilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilitiesCommunicate with patients and medical offices in person and over the phoneQualifications:
