    Corporate HVAC Technician

    Accela Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate HVAC Technician to join our team! As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for maintaining critical HVAC systems across multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area. If you're a self-motivated technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical issues and working with a supportive regional team, we'd love to hear from you.

    Responsibilities:

    Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities

    Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, air handlers, heat pumps, exhaust systems, and make-up air units

    Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues

    Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance

    Respond to emergency HVAC service calls as needed

    Maintain accurate service records and documentation

    Work closely with Regional Maintenance Directors and facility leadership

    Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience

    Experience servicing: Rooftop Units (RTUs), Split Systems, Package Units, Air Handlers, Heat Pumps, Chillers (preferred), Exhaust and Make-Up Air Systems

    EPA Section 608 Universal Certification

    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

    Ability to climb ladders and work safely at heights

    Ability to participate in emergency and after-hours service calls when necessary

    What You'll Do

    Assist with interior painting, patching, and finishing projects

    Help prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming

    Coordinate and schedule transportation for resident appointments, hospital visits, dialysis, admissions, discharges, and other approved trips

    Review transportation requests to ensure all required details are complete and accurate

    Manage daily and weekly driver schedules while adjusting for last-minute changes

    Coordinate with outside transportation vendors regarding availability, pickups, cancellations, and schedule updates

    Determine whether trips should be assigned internally or outsourced based on timing, transport level, and operational needs

    Track completed, canceled, rescheduled, and missed transports
