    We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Carpenter to join our team. You will collaborate with the project manager and building team to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and laminate. Structures include building frameworks, partitions, door and window frames, wooden stairways, rafters, and flooring. You must know how to read and interpret blueprints, work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. Many of our projects run through nights and weekends, so a flexible schedule is required.

    Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities

    Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specificationsTake measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the projectCut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurementsBuild window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed itemsInstall hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulationInspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as neededComply with all company and governmental safety guidelines

    Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plusStrong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and constructionProficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement toolsAble to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsGood physical condition, stamina, and dexterity Read Less

    We have an immediate opening for a skilled and reliable Construction Worker. You will work on a variety of construction projects performing general tasks. These tasks include loading and unloading materials, setting up temporary and permanent structures, installing drywall and windows, and painting walls. You must also be prepared to work in different types of weather conditions. We primarily work with local commercial clients, but some travel may be necessary. Our ideal candidate has some construction experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

    Construction Worker Duties and Responsibilities

    Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction siteConsult team leaders and manager on construction plansFollow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasksAdhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipmentComplete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient mannerProvide assistance to contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, painters) as neededClean and clear debris and hazardous materialsEnsure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
