    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA&C Plastics is seeking a hands-on Delivery Supervisor to oversee our Houston delivery operations. This role is responsible for leading our team of delivery drivers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while providing exceptional customer service.

    The ideal candidate enjoys being on the warehouse floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and leading by example. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and development of our delivery operation.

    What You'll DoLead and supervise daily local delivery operations and driver schedules.Coordinate and verify delivery paperwork for accuracy before dispatch.Ensure trucks are loaded safely and securely, and that they leave on time.Lead daily driver meetings and provide ongoing coaching and training.Maintain high standards for safety, compliance, and customer service.Investigate and resolve delivery issues and customer concerns promptly.Monitor driver performance and hold team members accountable to company standardsPartner with Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent customer experiences.Oversee truck inspections, cleanliness, and fleet readiness.Monitor driver performance and enforce company policies and procedures.Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching.Investigate and resolve delivery issues quickly and professionally.Maintain fleet readiness, vehicle inspections, and DOT compliance.Promote a culture centered on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Qualifications3+ years of supervisory experience in delivery, transportation, logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Experience with route planning or dispatch is preferred.Forklift and warehouse experience is a plus.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.Perks & Benefits🎉 Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay: Eligible after 90-days

    What We're Looking For:

    We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Assistant who can support the Warehouse Manager and help keep operations running smoothly.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. You'll be expected to learn all aspects of the warehouse, help direct daily activities, and step in to cover responsibilities when team members are out. The ideal candidate is someone the Warehouse Manager can trust to help keep operations moving when they're unavailable.

    You'll be successful in this role if you're reliable, accountable, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative. You take pride in your work, hold yourself to a high standard, and are willing to do whatever it takes to support the team and our customers.

    HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.
