Job Summary:
We are a small but growing company seeking a qualified Low Voltage Technician to join our team. Most work will be overnight in retail or commercial buildings. The ideal candidate must be able to work overnight with little to no supervision and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems in various retail and commercial settings.
Duties:
- Install and terminate cabling (Cat5, Alarm, Access Control) for low voltage systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Experience with CCTV installations is needed
- Work with CCTV, fire/burg alarm, paging and other low voltage systems
- Gain basic knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
- Gain knowledge of computer networking principles
Requirements:
- Ability to follow both oral and written instruction
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work at heights between 19 and 32ft on boom/scissor lifts
- Some degree of experience with either CCTV, alarm or access control systems.
- Stay out of town for 5 nights a week if needed
- Walk long distances in a retail environment
- Reliable transportation to jobsite
- Valid drivers license
- Pass background check/drug screening

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
