Technician will trouble-shoot, repair, audit, service, startup and modify equipment at various customers’ production and manufacturing facilities. The equipment is an industrial cabinet x-ray system used in the food industry for contaminant detection as a quality control & food safety tool. Provide technical support on-site or from remote location(s) or from our Vancouver, WA office. Technicians must rely on their experience, training and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We provide training and support for all employees no matter the experience. All tools and equipment for the job are provided by the company.
Job Duties:
Perform services, startup, training & provide technical support for industrial equipment.Quote parts, facilitate delivery and install on equipment.Document all maintenance, certifications, problems and solutions of equipment.Perform testing in our lab.Assess equipment performance based on field experience and recommend upgrades that would improve customer production and satisfaction.Provide advanced remote (telephone, email, online support) to customers for technical issues.Maintain a high technical knowledge level of products & peripheral systems.Conduct on-site application specific and general machine training.Must understand and follow safety and compliance guidelines not only for employer but also at a wide variety of manufacturing & product in facilities.Education:
2 - 5 years’ experience in service or electronics industries beneficial but not required.Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields beneficial but not required.Highly computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft suite, networking & system integration.Requirements:
Availability to travel and work outside of standard Monday-Friday schedule required for both planned and last-minute services. Service area includes: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Utah, Montana. Occasional travel to other states and international countries. Expected travel 50%.Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate on projects.Ability to work overtime if necessary.Ability to convey complex technical details.Ability to lift 50+ lbs.Clean driving record.Compensation: DOE. The Role

Key Responsibilities
